How many times have I been misinformed, Ended up foolish through lies of the spawn
It's what you see. What you see, it may not be me
Push that image, the outward image, push that image
Get more cunning, I grow more cunning, but I'm still hiding
Taught all your life that you have to be strong, never a question that they may be wrong
Hold in your feelings and act like a man, I'll put you down cause I know that I can
It's what you see. It's not me. What you see.
Get more cunning, I grow more cunning. But I'm still hiding.
All I want to be, is foreign to you
The lies that you preach, too far from my truth
Running away from the cause of your pain
Filling my head with your message again
What happened to you, you're no longer the same
How many times can my confidence wane
What you see x3 It may not be me
Push that image, the outward image
Get more cunning, I grow more cunning. But I'm still hiding.

Father's Sins
02:23
|

Can you only see the way it's been in the past
Do you only live again to seek revenge and then
Hold me responsible for things I have not done
Is the future's only hope doomed by the former one
Can't you see that I am innocent
Do you condemn me to hell
Won't you see that past is past, we can't change it now
We are willing, trying, present, future, finding how
Why reverse it, turn it backwards when you look at me
I won't take blame, not by me, can't you see
You try us by former standards
Can't judge me on precedent
Father's Sins the son must pay x2
Future holds a backlash for our equality
Judgements on old they pry our unity
How can we move forward together while we hold some back
Will you see what I mean another 50 years down the track
If you think, I can be free

Revenge

Trespass at will in my soul of content
Past the walls the sentries set
Complacent now you forget
All my hard work is now yours spent
Enter the fabric of my very being
Feel nothing of your disgrace
Nightmares be damned, I'll crush your life
Burnt mind image of your face
(Chorus) Your return is, my revenge
Your return, my revenge
What will I do, when I find you
What will I do to you
Dare your return on the eve of my strength
With all outstanding debts paid
Soaking in your blood, my newfound wealth
Lucky, if to rest you're laid
(Chorus)

Rain Man

Rain man, he's the one who brings the cold wind in the night
You shake, under dark clouds flooding torrent is his might
Rain man
Mother Nature scorned him once
He took his own and now he's back
He was heir apparent to the throne for all of life
When he came of age he broke his shackles in sun light
Forbear took him harshly, chastised his will, took his right
Anger, never forgiven, for earth mother tis the knife
Rain man
Mother Nature scorned him once
He took his own and now he's back to teach her what it's like to suffer under his disgrace
He took his punishment way down in the world of man
She thought she'd closed him down, he vowed nobody can
He drew upon his hate
He only used a gift bestowed upon him with good cause
Never mind the golden rule, don't break mother nature's laws

Anybody can see just where you are and maybe even where you're going too
You never realise what you've got until you get there
Spend your life in confined shell
Never see how nature dwells
Venture forth where not intended
Screams of why as flesh is rendered
Anywhere you go that's not your own is someone else's and you better respect everything you see or it's all over
Public storm over natural mess
Cultured long man beast forgets
Basic skill and mortal talent
They are with and we without it
Social rage at boundaries pushed
Creature of habit knows no more
Not of evil, scaled and cursed
You don't know what you die for
What you die for
